Its primary role is to ensure that appropriate risk management processes are in place and functioning as intended, while also ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- The team maintains strong working relationships across almost all areas of the firm and collaborates effectively to achieve its goals.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent financial crime.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards and stay informed on changes in financial crime regulations and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and mitigate financial crime risks.

- Serve as the primary subject matter expert in sanctions, AML, and CTF and act as the key escalation point for complex financial crime cases, providing expertise and resolution strategies.
- Lead the enhancement of sanctions, AML, and CTF processes, frameworks, and investigative standards and continuously evaluate, automate, and improve systems and processes related to sanctions, AML, and CTF
- Prepare and present Management Information (MI) reports, highlighting key trends, performance metrics, and risk insights for senior management, relevant stakeholders, or external parties where required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a financial crime environment within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations. (Qualifications would be beneficial)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Awareness of broader financial crime risks, including anti-bribery and corruption, and preferably fraud
- An ability to analyse complex financial crime data, identify emerging trends, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance detection and prevention efforts.
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data as a key resource in decision-making and risk management.

- The opportunity to scale up one of the world's most successful fintech companies.
- Best-in-class compensation, including equity.
- You can work from home every Monday and Friday if you wish - on the other days, we all come together IRL to be together, build and exchange ideas.
- Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to whip up breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks in the office every Tuesday-Thursday.
