Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Monitoring Manager to join BCG's Global Compliance team within Compliance Excellence. This second line of defence role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a team that provides innovative support, guidance, and oversight on critical compliance topics.
Key Responsibilities
This is a managerial role responsible for setting compliance monitoring personnel objectives, providing ongoing feedback, and promoting professional development. The successful candidate will develop and execute an annual Compliance Monitoring Plan, utilize data analytics and advanced technologies to identify and manage risks, and leverage data to monitor compliance metrics. Additionally, the role involves tracking identified risks, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring sustainable resolution of issues.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- An academic degree in a relevant discipline: Audit, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Advanced degree or certification in compliance, auditing, risk management, or a related field (e.g., CCEP), preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within a professional services firm
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of control design and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in data analytics and advanced technologies used in compliance monitoring.
- Knowledge of current computing technologies and software applications such as SQL/Python query language, Alteryx, Advanced Tableau, Power BI and Microsoft tools
- Understanding of enterprise data warehouses, business intelligence architecture, application and design, ML & AI concepts
- Strong analytical foundations and experience with more advanced analytics topics such cohort and regression analysis, predictive modelling etc.
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High integrity, flexibility, willingness, and sense of ownership.
- Fluent business English (spoken and written).

- Integrate various data sources to gain comprehensive insights across compliance risk areas.
- Identify higher-risk areas for targeted monitoring and mitigation.
- Recommend risk management strategies to address identified risks effectively.
- Development and delivery of the risk-based annual Compliance Monitoring Plan and methodology.
- Ongoing execution and development of annual Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Utilize data analytics and advanced technologies to identify and manage risks efficiently.
- Regularly review and update monitoring frameworks to adapt to changing internal requirements and regulatory landscapes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards (Tableau) to provide real-time visibility into compliance performance and risk exposure.
- Utilize data analytics and advanced technologies to identify and manage risks efficiently.
- Review, update, and investigate data from pertinent data sources to ensure a high level of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance data quality is optimal or otherwise remediated.
- Use analytical and statistical techniques to measure the drivers of risk and effectiveness of controls.
- Train colleagues in data-driven, risk-based decision making.
- Track identified risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain a log of findings and follow up on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Prepares monitoring reports to specified standards, style, timeliness, with the need for minimal changes.
- Develop tangible and repeatable compliance metrics for compliance management reporting.
- Work closely with Compliance colleagues to complete ad-hoc analysis, question assumptions, define key metrics, design dashboards, and deliver compliance reports.
- Communicate key findings to leadership and make strategic recommendations.
