As our new Ethics & Compliance Officer you will play a crucial role in protect, advocate, and improve the lives of the most vulnerable people around us. Detect and disrupt Modern Slavery and Exploitation within our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities of our Ethics and Compliance Officer:

Support the delivery of G's Ethics strategy and drive high levels of ethical due diligence throughout the Group and the wider supply chain, which incorporates:
Key Responsibilities of our Ethics and Compliance Officer:
- Establish a UK risk register. Use this data as the source information to drive the development of an effective ethical auditing approach that is based on risk levels (internal, second party and external).
- Conduct ethical audits against the required standards, i.e. ETI, SMETA standards, GLAA licensing standards, Global Gap and G's Policies.
- Work co-operatively with stakeholders to ensure policies, procedures and associated standards are maintained. If failings are identified support the identification of root cause, implementation of practicable steps to deliver improvements, and preventative measures.
- Develop, deliver, and review capacity building training (including supporting materials) for relevant ethical issues. To continue to increase knowledge on ethical issues and accountability across the Group.
- Support the delivery of the group's ethical sourcing strategy, which includes, developing human rights due diligence for suppliers, service providers, responsible recruitment and supply chain management.
- Travel (UK & aboard) to sites as required.
- A passion for developing a career with Ethical Compliance, with a desire to learn and grow.
- Sound understanding of and experience in due diligence requirements in relation to reputational and ethical integrity.
- Proven analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, whilst continuing to deliver accuracy, consistency, in a timely manner.
- Continuously keeping knowledge up to date on ethical supply chain developments
- Knowledge and experience of Data management and IT skills including Excel.

- Excellent communication (spoken and written) and negotiation skills.
