Summary
The Product Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that Amadeus touchpoint products meet both internal requirements and external regulatory and industry standards. This role involves defining, coordinating, and executing the compliance testing process to evaluate product reliability and conformity.
The primary focus is on developing and implementing effective testing strategies, maintaining compliance documentation, and facilitating certification processes with both internal and third-party entities. The Product Compliance Specialist works closely with development teams, providing technical expertise and guidance to investigate and resolve compliance-related issues.

The Product Compliance Specialist works closely with development teams, providing technical expertise and guidance to investigate and resolve compliance-related issues.
Key responsibilities
- Define and Coordinate Compliance Testing: Develop, coordinate, and execute the compliance testing process to assess product reliability and conformity;
- Develop Testing Strategies: Formulate and implement effective testing strategies to ensure product compliance;
- Maintain Compliance Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and records;
- Facilitate Certification Processes: Manage and oversee certification processes, liaising with both internal teams and third-party entities;
- Technical Expertise and Guidance: Collaborate with development teams, providing technical expertise and guidance to resolve compliance-related issues;
- Write Test Scripts and Reports: Develop electrical test scripts and write detailed reports on testing outcomes;
- Investigate Compliance Issues: Conduct thorough investigations to identify and address compliance-related problems;
- Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills: Apply strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to all aspects of compliance testing;
- Enhance Product Quality: Contribute to overall product quality and compliance through diligent testing and documentation efforts;
- Proficiency in calculating Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) to assess the reliability of systems and components;
- Knowledge of electronics;
- Electrical or Mechanical or Electromechanical knowledge;
- Knowledge of firmware and software if possible;
- Expertise in identifying and implementing risk reduction strategies to enhance system safety and performance;
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as the Low Voltage Directive (LVD), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Directive, Machinery Directive, and both European and International standards.
