Job Description

Galderma is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified lawyer to take on the role of Head of Legal & Compliance, Distributor Markets and EMEAC In-Line Business Franchise Lead, responsible for ensuring our company operates in a legal and ethical manner across these regions and areas of business. Your role will be instrumental in upholding our mission and core values, guiding our strategic initiatives, and maintaining high standards of business integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing consistent and reliable support for business growth while safeguarding Galderma's assets and reputation.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry codes, and standards.
  • Oversee distributor management, including due diligence processes, compliance checks, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain, amend, and develop governance, compliance and management practices for third-party interactions in assigned markets.
  • Lead contract negotiations for distribution agreements in EMEAC, providing support and coordination for other regions.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a global distributor tracker and central repository.
  • Provide day-to-day legal and compliance support and guidance to internal stakeholders, including commercial, medical, and cross-functional departments in the Therapeutic Dermatology area (excluding biologics).
  • Work cross-functionally with medical and regulatory affairs to review promotional and non-promotional material, advisory board material and objection handlers.
  • Assist in contract review and negotiation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Provide legal and compliance advice on various international congresses and events-related matters.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified to practice law in a major EU jurisdiction with experience in both private practice and in-house legal in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in negotiating, reviewing, and ensuring compliance of distribution contracts, ideally within Life Science industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of key laws and regulations in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics or medical device industry.
  • Executive presence, able to deal with senior leadership, communicate effectively.
  • Commercial mindset and business acumen.
  • Proficient in English ; other languages a plus
  • Strong communication skills
