Description
As the HSEQ Performance & Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence by leveraging data to inform strategic and operational decision-making. Reporting to the Head of HSEQ and working within the central Group HSEQ team, your primary focus will be to ensure the business meets and exceeds its performance and compliance standards across all directorates and contracts.
You will be responsible for analysing complex datasets, identifying trends, and producing clear insights to support performance enhancement, compliance assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will continuously track performance and compliance data to identify areas requiring immediate attention. Your work will underpin the business's ability to make evidence-based decisions and achieve its operational and regulatory objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Strong technical understanding of data development, transformation, and modelling techniques.
• Proven experience in developing effective data capture and reporting solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to forecast trends and proactively identify potential risks and op-portunities.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP PM and experience using BI dashboards for perfor-mance tracking.
• Skilled in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly and suc-cinctly to a variety of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Extract, interpret, and transform data from multiple sources to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement across operational contracts.
- Analyse trends in both performance and compliance data to uncover root causes and guide improvement strategies at a business-wide level.
- Collaborate closely with the Planning Manager to optimise scheduling and planning efficiency, ensuring operational productivity is maximised.
- Develop strong working relationships with Contract Leads and Directors to support them in achieving their performance and compliance targets.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to improve data integrity and accuracy, reducing ambiguity and enhancing reliability in reporting.
- Research and gather data to support in-depth analysis and business outcome evaluation.
- Produce visually engaging and insightful management reports, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Participate in weekly performance meetings to communicate performance metrics and ensure clear visual representation of data to stakeholders.
- Promote strong data governance practices and ensure analytical processes meet high standards of rigour and accountability.
- Deliver clear, concise statistical reporting aligned to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct quality audits on ongoing and completed work, liaising with local data owners to obtain feedback and drive improvements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of comprehensive performance reports.
- Create process maps to identify and support business improvement opportunities.
