Description
Position Purpose:
The HR Compliance Manager oversees HR Compliance and Benefits and provides an overall strategy to avoid any legal liabilities. This position will coordinate collaborative efforts as directed by the HR Director for internal control assessments, compliance with governmental entities, and participation with professional HR services. The individual ensures compliance with EEOC and other laws (state, federal, and local) in handling data and providing benefits to employees.

Description
Position Purpose:
The HR Compliance Manager oversees HR Compliance and Benefits and provides an overall strategy to avoid any legal liabilities. This position will coordinate collaborative efforts as directed by the HR Director for internal control assessments, compliance with governmental entities, and participation with professional HR services. The individual ensures compliance with EEOC and other laws (state, federal, and local) in handling data and providing benefits to employees.
Essential Duties:
- Effectively interpret and apply Federal, State, and Local regulations to HR internal and external functions while maintaining the integrity of the current policies and procedures in our company handbook
- Identify and analyze tax issues and errors by overseeing quarterly and year-end Paycom reports
- Oversee all ACA requirements; they are operational and progressive, and data integrity is maintained
- Oversees internal and external requests for surveys, audits, and labor statistics to related ministries, government agencies, and professional associations
- Maintaining compliance with all reporting entities
- Consult with the HR Director and leadership, about processes, practices, and systems for improvement
- Present and summarize audit/research findings in a clear, concise manner, using appropriate grammar and vocabulary in writing reports and memos
- Use independent, mature judgment in responding to unusual situations, resolving conflict and identifying situations, and recommending solutions to be referred to the supervisor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and a clear record of compliance issues and resolutions
- Willingness to exhibit high levels of commitment and dedication
- Act as a resource for payroll/HR contacts to ensure their understanding and compliance with benefits, payroll, and HR policies and regulations
- Survey industry trends. Research and analyze benefits and compensation plans, programs, and policies
- Oversees the process of benefit enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, and COBRA
- Other duties as assigned

- Well-versed in database analysis and database management

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

- Change management skills and experience
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and multi-task
- Expert in the use and development of Excel spreadsheets, and proficientin the use of PCs for word processing and internet research
- Mature and proactive
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model
- Deep understanding of and experience with Compliance Reporting and Audits
- Experience in successfully partnering with IT staff
- An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong verbal and written skills and a willingness to share information
- A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign the Statement of Faith
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required
- Charis Bible College graduate is preferred
- Must pass all required checks
- Minimum of 4-5 years of office experience that must include auditing, accounting, or analytical-related functions
- Minimum 2-3 years experience supervising a team; Preferably in a customer service environment
- 4-5 years experience in HR/Accounting specializing in payroll taxes and procedures
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
