Work Schedule:
Hybrid - Buffalo, NY
Our team in Corporate Group is looking for an Import Compliance Manager to join them. You will report to the Director of Global Trade Compliance and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

To be considered for the Import Compliance Manager role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:
  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Law, Finance, or a related field; Customs Broker's license preferred; MS/MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in import/export compliance.
  • Expertise in Customs Regulations and familiarity with EAR, ITAR and global import requirements.
  • Data analysis skills to include advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills with a proven ability to develop teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
As an Import Compliance Manager, you will:
  • Serve as the strategic advisor on import matters, interpreting regulations and guiding corporate policy development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Trade professionals, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • Ensure all importing activities comply with U.S. Customs regulations, including 19CFR, ITAR, and other relevant laws.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive import documentation in line with compliance and retention requirements.
  • Manage and develop the Corporate Import Compliance organization.
  • Collaborate with Customs and authorized brokers to facilitate smooth import operations.
  • Lead training initiatives for shipping and trade personnel to enhance import compliance awareness.
  • Assess import risk and manage compliance audits, including responses to CF-28s and CF-29s.
  • Develop and execute strategies for duty minimization and cost avoidance.
  • Support business travel up to 10%.

Salary Range Transparency:
Buffalo, NY $125,000.00-$160,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
