Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for an International Trade Compliance Administrator to join our expanding team. Initially the role will be based in Staverton but following training you will have the option to work at either our Bishops Cleeve or Staverton site.

What Will You Be Doing?

In this role, your primary focus is to support the ITC Manager in ensuring compliance with Ontic Group Policies. This involves incorporating policies into standard procedures, managing import/export processes, and administering Inward & Outward Processing Authorisations. Your responsibilities extend to third-party vetting, reviewing quotations/orders for compliance, and meticulous documentation management. You will also play a key role in preparing and hosting external audits.

What Will You Need to Know?

A minimum of GCSE-level education or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience with UK import/export compliance regulations is beneficial. Key competences include effective communication, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a pragmatic problem-solving approach. Additional competences involve a good understanding of legislation governing health and safety, data protection, and equal opportunities. This role may require travel to other Ontic UK sites, and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
