Your missions

You will join the Chartering Department, specifically the Operations department.
You will monitor the operational performance of chartered vessels currently in the fleet, with a particular focus on their energy performance and compliance with regulations aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
In collaboration with shipowners, commercial lines, and the operational teams of the department and the group, you will actively participate in the implementation of FUEL EU MARITIME. This European regulation comes into effect on January 1, 2025, and aims to promote the use of decarbonized energies in maritime activities.
Your mission will effectively contribute to achieving the ambitious goals of the UN, the EU, and the CMA CGM group, which is to reduce the carbon footprint of shipping to Net Zero by 2050.

What will you do?

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the chartered fleet (330 vessels) with particular attention to their activities within the European scope (EU EMRV).
  • Investigate the "compliance balance" of incoming and existing vessels and make projections for the full calendar year.
  • Compare the regulatory performance of vessels with the predictions established by the group.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the decarbonization of the energies used by the vessels and adapt the group's "compliance strategy".
  • Prepare presentations on the performance and compliance of vessels under the FUEL EU aspect for shipowners and department teams.
What are we looking for?

  • You have a higher education degree such as a Master 2 or 3rd year of business school with a specialization in Transport, Logistics, CSR, or New Energies.
  • Ideally, you have knowledge in Maritime and are interested in environmental issues and the energy transition.
  • You are bilingual in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate with English-speaking colleagues.
  • You quickly demonstrate autonomy, rigor, logic, and a good capacity for adaptation.
  • You have team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and excellent communication.
