ISO Compliance Manager

JOB SUMMARY

Corporate ethics and compliance professional with responsibility for providing a broad range of expertise and practical, business-minded advice and support to the Ethics & Compliance programme internationally. This position will monitor external developments and best practice methodologies and remain current on proposed and enacted legislation and regulations affecting ethics and compliance programmes for public companies, providing guidance on CDW's international compliance and ethics strategy. Reports to the Senior Compliance Manager, Legal, Risk, Ethics & Compliance (UKI). Market competitive compensation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Oversee the maintenance of the organisation's ISO frameworks to ensure adherence to ISO standards and support continued certification
  • Develop processes for effective management of external audits.
  • Transition core ISO activities to new business owners.
  • Identify and address gaps or improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct regular checks and internal audits against ISO standards
  • Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and lead IMS meetings with relevant senior stakeholders, ensuring it remains effective and relevant
  • Manage risk registers, action logs and improvement plans.
  • Document and update key controls and compliance tests, , providing assurance that controls are operating effectively
  • Be the point of contact for external audits, preparing the teams, coordinating dates and availability with auditors and certification bodies, and communicating any relevant information.
  • Identify root causes of any non-conformances and create improvement plans to ensure non-conformances are addressed and rectified.
  • Report findings and work collaboratively with key business functions to support continuous improvement.
  • Support the Senior Compliance Manager with general compliance matters.
  • Raise and resolve issues and concerns with relevant teams.
  • Participate in briefings and meetings at all levels of the organisation
ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in a compliance role, including managing ISO audits for a multi-national entity.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 20000, and 27001, including planning and supporting relevant functions to ensure compliant outcomes
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide practical advice.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate workshops and training and to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts and to interact with stakeholders of all levels, including senior management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to seek out and understand granular levels of detail, ambiguity and complexity and to present and promote practical solutions.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills and the ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Service-oriented attitude, high standards of ethics and professional integrity, passionate commitment, intellectual curiosity, confidentiality and growth mindset.
  • Team player who welcomes responsibility and engagement.
  • Ability to drive actions to completion while remaining adaptable to changing needs, priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience of providing effective and constructive feedback
  • Excellent internal auditing skills, including active listening, professional scepticism, understanding new information, report writing and root-cause analysis
  • Eagerness to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and other coworkers to maintain an awareness of developments within the wider business and support opportunities for standardisation across geographies where applicable.
  • Willingness to travel as required (less than 15%), including to UK office sites for audits.
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with ISO 22301 and 50001
  • High degree of technology literacy and familiarity with technology-based compliance systems in particular.
