About the Role
Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and ensuring gold-standard training compliance? Do you have a keen eye for detail, reporting, and analytics?
We are looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Data & Compliance Analyst to play a key role in tracking, analysing, and reporting on training effectiveness across CareTech Children's Services. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by providing insights that drive compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
This role also provides operational support to the L&D Coordination Team, ensuring smooth training administration and compliance with industry regulations (Ofsted, CQC, etc.).
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Producing monthly training compliance, attendance, and financial reports for each operational region
• Auditing and tracking mandatory training completion to ensure regulatory compliance
• Managing and updating the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS), including levy allocation and apprenticeship compliance
• Supporting L&D Coordinators by covering scheduling, learning request management, and venue/trainer liaison
• Analysing training return on investment (ROI) to improve performance and cost-effectiveness
• Presenting data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
What We're Looking For:
Strong data analysis skills with experience in reporting, audits, and compliance tracking
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, data validation, formulas)
Knowledge of LMS systems and training coordination
Understanding of apprenticeship funding and DAS management
Ability to provide clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail
Desirable (But Not Essential):
• Experience in HR analytics, L&D, or workforce planning
• Familiarity with Ofsted, CQC, or other regulatory training compliance
• Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
