We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in navigating the complex legal landscape of the gaming industry, ensuring that JOI Gaming remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Draft, review and negotiate various types of agreements with game providers, payment service providers and other third parties, while maintaining systematic contract management.
- Ensure content and brand protection through the registration, maintenance, and renewal of intellectual property rights, assist in any IP disputes that may arise.
- Assist in maintaining existing gaming license(s) and obtaining license(s) in other jurisdiction(s)
- Ensure compliance with current license conditions and any regulatory requirements under applicable laws, including but not limited to AML/CFT, Responsible Gambling, Data Protection, Consumer Rights, etc.
- Research and stay updated on developments in regulatory online gambling regimes worldwide, as well as in jurisdiction(s) where the company holds license(s).
- Assist in creating, updating, implementing, monitoring, and enforcing the company's policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for regulatory reporting processes and submission timely.
- Ensure compliance with terms and conditions, oversee and monitor customer complaints and disputes, and provide guidance on their resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide legal and compliance support and guidance, including conducting training sessions.
- Assist with corporate structure changes and other corporate matters.
- Handle various operational topics within the company, manage external legal services and oversee document filing along with administrative procedures.
- A qualified lawyer with experience in the online gaming sector, particularly in legal and/or compliance roles.
- Familiarity with European jurisdictions; experience with Dutch markets is a strong asset.
- In-depth knowledge of current laws, regulations, and best practices in legal and compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
