Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Risk Manager for B&C Solutions in the UK or France. In this role, you will be pivotal in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the Markets business. Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders, you will ensure regulatory compliance, implement risk management strategies, and support operational excellence across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Strategy: Develop and maintain a robust risk framework for the Markets team, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, Dodd-Frank).
  • Incident Management: Respond to and manage risk incidents, ensuring timely reporting, stakeholder communication, and policy adherence.
  • Audit Preparedness: Lead preparation for audits, document concerns, and serve as a focal point during fieldwork.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with operations, risk, and compliance teams to address incidents requiring regulatory reporting.
  • Risk Oversight: Ensure risks are accurately logged in the bank's monitoring systems, including M7, and escalate as needed to relevant committees.
  • Control Implementation: Oversee the integration of policies and procedures into BAU activities, including RCSA completion, service management, and business continuity planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with Trading, Sales,
Skills and Qualifications

Skills
  • Expertise in operational risk management within financial markets.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, MiFID, Dodd-Frank).
  • Proven ability to manage change and drive process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with operational tools like M7 and risk assessment methodologies.
Qualifications
  • University degree preferred.
  • Background in operations, process improvement, or Middle Office functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and mitigate risk.
