As Master Data Analyst - Trade Compliance on the Alcon's Global Trade Compliance team you will be trusted to work on Alcon's trade compliance master data elements and import/export transactions.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Determine import/export classification (HTS/ECCN) of Alcon products and 3rd party products being imported / exported to support Alcon business globally.

• Maintain additional master data elements such as US FDA and PGA codes, Health Canada license information, and EU import/export measures that correspond to HS codes in the system of record.

• Ensure fast and compliant broker entry filings by providing transactional support to customs brokers and stakeholder(s), efficiently working in Alcon's trade compliance systems, and proactively and effectively communicating with stakeholders to obtain the necessary information for assigning HTS/ECCN codes and maintaining relevant OGA/PGA data.

• Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Alcon's global trade compliance program & broker management.

• Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

2+ years of confirmed experience.

• US FDA and PGA codes, Health Canada license information and EU import / export measures regulation knowledge.

• Comprehensive experience classifying items using the GRIs.

• Experience researching government rulings for classification justification.

• Experience documenting classification supporting logic.

• Familiarity with SAP and GTS is a plus.

• Strong data analytic skills.
