We're recruiting for an Operational Risk Manager to join the team on a 6 month contract. The Operational Risk Manager is responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and assurance around operational risk management across Nando's UKI, to ensure that we remain 'safe and secure' and can achieve our business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • 5) Support the Nando's UK & I leadership team in identifying and calling out emerging threats and risks to the achievement of business objectives.
  • Conduct risks assessments and risk reviews at the request of the Chief Risk Officer, H/O Operational Risk or wider Nando's UK & I LT.

  • Oversee the operational risk assurance programme to provide the UK & I LT with assurance that we are compliant, legal, and within risk appetite in relation to the principal risks.
  • Support risk management strategies for enterprise wide, risk related incidents.
  • Manage the Nando's UK & I Insurance programme ensuring that claims are effectively managed, policy requirements flow through to internal policies and procedures so that successful claims can be made and that there is a general awareness of claims opportunities across the business.
  • Support in the management of Nando's UK & I Policies & Procedures to ensure that these are in place, communicated, and embedded into key business processes.
Our candidate should possess/be:

Our candidate should be looking for:

  • A culture with strong purpose & values, intent on contributing to / driving positive cultural and societal change
  • Involvement in a variety of projects rather than repetitive work in a business which encourages creativity and evolution rather than a set approach.
  • An environment which is relaxed and informal, whilst highly driven and ambitious
  • A business that seeks to support every employee to be at their best, and encourage individuality
