As an integral member of our Operational Risk team, you will assume a key position in supporting the Macquarie Capital business, acting as a second line of defence. Your responsibilities will encompass advising on policy and framework implementation, providing independent operational risk oversight, and supporting principal transactions and significant change initiatives. You will work closely with both the business and risk teams, driving a robust risk management culture and offering expert advice to senior management.
What you offer

• Demonstrated expertise in Operational Risk Management frameworks and their application within the asset management or investment management sector.
• Familiarity with Operational Risk tools (e.g., RCSA, Scenario Analysis) and a working knowledge of various risk management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management across multiple locations.
• A proactive, inquisitive mindset with a keen eye for identifying potential process failures and the ability to maintain high performance in a dynamic, result-oriented environment.
• A solid understanding of the regulatory landscape relevant to Macquarie Capital,

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
