Job Summary:

The Paralegal/Compliance Administrator is a vital role that supports the Compliance department in ensuring that the company adheres to regulatory and legal standards. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a proactive approach to compliance tracking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal and compliance functions, including document preparation, research, record-keeping, and communication with regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:
  • Legal Documentation & Research - Draft, review, and prepare legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
  • Assist with document preparation and filing for legal proceedings or transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance records and documentation, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help develop, implement, and enforce compliance policies and protocols.
  • Maintain organized and confidential records of legal and compliance documents, filings, and correspondence.
  • Track deadlines, updates, and status reports for compliance projects and audits.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and documentation as required by law.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the compliance/legal department and other departments to provide guidance on compliance-related issues.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions for employees on compliance standards and legal matters.
  • Providing general administrative support to the legal and compliance teams.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with correspondence related to compliance activities.
Qualifications/Preferred Requirements:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, Business Administration, or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in a legal or compliance environment, preferably within a corporate or regulatory setting.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
