Job Details

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $62,500.00-$72,500.00

Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are provided company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also able to enroll in the company's 401k retirement savings plan.

Paid Time Off: Employees accrue 0.0654 hours of PTO per hour worked up to a maximum of 136 hours per calendar year. Employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and employees accrue up to a maximum of 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year.

The Payroll Compliance Analyst ensures accurate and timely processing of wage garnishments and compliance with regulations as applicable to payroll. The Payroll Compliance Analyst also works closely with the Sr Manager, Payroll on federal, state, and local income tax audits and reconciliations. This position is also responsible for ensuring that any new applications for tax jurisdictions are completed in a timely manner. This role may also be responsible for processing payroll as a member of the payroll team.
Essential Functions

  • Essential Functions
    • Process timely and accurate Employment Verification, Workers Compensation Reports, Multiple Worksite Reports and Unemployment claims.
    • Assists with the application process for new state and local taxes. Researches and responds to tax notices with review by Sr Payroll Manager. Maintains log of any employment tax issues.
    • Completes audits of Towne Park associate tax elections within Workday. Assists in the reconciliation of federal, state, and local Quarterly tax filings. Performs tax research relating to employee withholding, unemployment, and local income taxes.
    • Maintains legal and regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements and obtaining approvals.
    • Researches regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information to ensure tax compliance and support multi-state tracking and compliance efforts.
    • Resolves payroll tickets and questions within established timeframes by providing an elevated level of customer service to associates when questions arise.
    • Acquire and apply the necessary knowledge of an outside payroll service and/or the Human Resources system to process payroll and related reports accurately and timely.
    • Perform administrative tasks as needed including mail processing, filing and storage of payroll records.
    • Associate must perform audits for each payroll for wage garnishments. Must make necessary adjustments/corrections to ensure accurate pay to all employees within assigned payrolls
