PEO Benefits Compliance Program Manager

Overview

An essential role within the PEO Health and Benefits (H&B) Compliance team, this role will be responsible for managing all state and federally mandated filings to ensure that our health plans remain compliant. This role will be responsible for generating communications for both our internal and external partners and will work closely with other departments to maintain the integrity of the plans administered.

Responsibilities

  • Manages annual 5500 process.
  • Develops and establishes communications and reports regarding plan design changes for internal and external stakeholders to ensure messages are clear, accurate and consistent.
  • Identifies compliance issues affecting the PEO H&B product offering and provides management with recommended solutions.
  • Evaluates and reviews integration of PEO insurance products and services with agency products and services to ensure consistency.
  • Develops, produces, and maintains final approval for all PEO compliance communication materials for products, new business, monthly eligibility, and annual enrollment.
  • Ensures that compliance related communications are delivered appropriately using various delivery methods and vendors.
  • Maintains compliance of Health & Welfare plans at both the state and federal level.
  • Manages compliance of plans, and handles escalations from internal partners, clients, and worksite employees.
  • Develops, produces, and maintains final approval for all PEO benefits communication and marketing materials for products, new business, monthly eligibility, and Annual Enrollment.
  • Coordinates with Compliance and other business units to produce required notifications, deliver training, and satisfy PEO responsibilities.
  • Recommends and implements strategies to expand and improve PEO H&B product offerings to ensure Paychex remains nationally competitive and compliant.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • Health & Benefits Insurance experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Related field.
  • PEO knowledge of compliance and 5500 filings.
Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $77,000.00 - $110,000.00 salary. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
