General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Process and Compliance Manager to join our established Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary from £50,560 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.
Joining an established team based at our Merthyr ( South Wales ) facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders who shall support the on-going management and improvement of GDLS UK Quality Management System and ensure process compliance to applicable standards.

If you were already working in this position, this is what you would have been working on this week:
- Management of efficient and effective Concessions system to ensure effective capture and sentencing in accordance with DEF-STAN 05-061 Part 1
- Through life management of Concessions
- Manage the process to ensure completed vehicles are handed over in the required build condition and with all the required documentation.
- Point of knowledge on all aspects of Concession management.
- Objective setting and appraisal of subordinate Engineers, as assigned.
- Generation and management of QMS documentation ensuring all aspects are compliant with agreed standards and requirements.
- Proven experience as compliance manager
- In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Have experience of managing a quality management system
- Solid root cause investigation experience is essential.
- Experience/knowledge of PFMEA as Control Plans.
- Good knowledge of ISO9001:2015.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and presentation.
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours and shifts.
