For our division Quality Management & Product Engineering,at our location in Köln we are looking for a

Product Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)

YOUR SHOES TO FILL:
  • You will ensure our products meet all legal requirements (e.g., REACH, ProdSG) in key markets such as the EU, USA, and China, including proper labeling of materials, manufacturers, and environmental information.
  • You will create product-specific compliance guidelines and train relevant teams such as product management and sales.
  • You will work with the relevant departments to implement legal requirements in practice.
  • You will regularly inspect products to ensure they comply with legal labeling requirements.
  • You will work closely with external partners to clarify legal issues.
  • You will help to build up our compliance network in the sales markets in collaboration with Sales.
  • You will conduct compliance audits, identify potential compliance risks and create risk assessments and action plans.
YOUR WALK OF LIFE:
  • You have several years of experience in product compliance, preferably in the consumer goods industry (shoes, textiles).
  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, law, or food chemistry (preferably with a second state examination).
  • You have experience in researching, defining, and implementing legal requirements.
  • You can confidently create and present compliance guidelines and work instructions.
  • You work independently and solution-oriented.
  • You have strong skills in coordinating and executing projects.
  • You are a true team player and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • You are proficient in German and English.
  • You are proficient with MS Office.
