CIPFA is expanding our Qualifications Innovation and Development Team and looking for a Professional Qualifications and Compliance Officer.
To collaborate with the wider qualifications team under direction from the Professional Qualifications Manager with the awarding of exemptions to Institutions of Higher Education and Professional Bodies
Key Responsibilities:
CIPFA (Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy) is a UK-based international accountancy membership and standard-setting body. We are dedicated to public financial management and believe that improving public services is key to changing lives for the better. Good public financial management is central to achieving this ambition. Our educational and advisory services support our members, students, and other public finance professionals throughout their careers, helping them add value to their teams and organizations. CIPFA is a forward-looking organisation and has developed a modern and progressive approach to flexible workingand hybrid working. The location for the role will be dual location at both home and our Chesteroffice.
Department Qualifications Innovation Role Professional Qualifications and Compliance Officer Locations Chester Remote status Hybrid Yearly salary £25,927 - £29,070 Job Closing Date 17 March, 2025
To collaborate with the wider qualifications team under direction from the Professional Qualifications Manager with the awarding of exemptions to Institutions of Higher Education and Professional Bodies
Key Responsibilities:
- to work with students to ensure their Portfolio submission meets CIPFA requirements for membership,
- embed the competency framework into the portfolio requirements
- to work with associates to ensure workbooks, assessments, learning materials are of a flawless standard,
- to support the CPD audit process;
- to support the administration of Accredited Training Providers
- to modify and adopt policies and processes to fulfil regulatory requirements and to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality customer service to all stakeholders.
