Role
The role:
Sitting within the Business Operations Team reporting to our Business Operations Director, and working closely with all teams, from an Event Director, Commercial Director to Facilities
Manager, we are seeking a talented Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team!
You will be the go-to person for quality, compliance and governance. You will implement and manage procedures, audits, checks and controls to ensure we're sufficiently robust in areas that deliver for our clients, while managing and mitigating risk.
You will be responsible for strong stakeholder management with our suppliers, ensuring supplier compliance with our Supply Chain Management Framework, proportionate onboarding on suppliers including due diligence and measuring adherence to our sustainability and environmental requirements.
You will manage our processes in line with our ISO accreditations and GDPR obligations and procedures, working with teams to address their skill gaps and needs. You will be responsible for the management of client contractual obligations; map out requirements and ensure we comply with responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:
- Ensure that the company operates in line with our three current ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 20121), ensuring consistency in business processes / procedures.
- Manage current implemented GDPR procedures (SAR requests, data retention, data asset register) and support teams where needed; including conducting checks and audits on data deletion.
- Responsible for the management of client contractual obligations; mapping out requirements upon winning and ensure delivery teams understand and comply with responsibilities, including data management.
- Develop and implement frameworks to monitor progress against contractual KPIs; develop reports for the Commercial Director and Managing Director.
- Responsible for the management and implementation of the existing business-wide Supply Chain Management Framework, overseeing due diligence, implementation and management of audits and quality controls. Putting in place Quality and Compliance Improvement Plans where needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience of the events industry is preferred, but not essential.
- Passionate about driving and championing continuous improvement, process and efficiencies and takes pride in delivering the very best work.
- Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and maintain excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of people of all levels, including suppliers and internal colleagues.
- Great at developing frameworks, policies, procedures and understanding how to implement and mobilise those across the business.
- Highly organised, taking a pragmatic approach and being able to see the bigger picture whilst drilling the detail.
- Brilliant leadership skills and comfortable with having hard conversations.
- Great writing and administrative skills, with high competency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
