This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Quality Compliance Specialist in the Boots Healthcare Quality Team based in Nottingham. You will be working a team to ensure the compliance of Boots Licenced Medicines and Medical Devices.
About the role
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Compliance Officer undertakes the following activities: -
• Provides operational technical support to Quality Manager/Qualified Person to review batch paperwork to enable the timely & compliant release of imported medicinal products. Ensures timely resolution of quality issues with contract manufacturers. Manages quality Incidents & deviations as appropriate.
• Implementing & maintaining Quality Management Systems processes.
• Review of documentation & liaison between contract manufacturers and Boots to ensure annual product quality reviews are completed to agreed schedules.
• Responsible for management of batch documentation and retained product samples systems. Manages archived documents.
• Liaises with regulatory affairs and medical services to provide quality documentation in maintaining product licenses.
• Liaises with contract laboratory to ensure analysis is completed to agreed timescales.
• Review of documentation and release of medical device products where Boots are the legal manufacturer.
What you'll need to have
The ideal candidate will be dynamic and passionate about providing our consumers with good quality, differentiated and effective products. This role will suit those people who love to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards. You will have previous experience working in a Quality role with licenced medicines and/or medical device products.
You will possess the following qualities:
• Scientific approach to problem solving.
• Good organisational capabilities and attention to detail.
• Clear communicator (both oral & written) with good team working and networking skills
• Ability to manage own workload
• Product knowledge concerning quality, safety & regulatory requirements for licenced medicines and medical devices.
