Trading Standards Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship (Level 4)
The Trading Standards Team in Sheffield City Council regulate and enforce consumer law to promote a fair and equitable trading environment through initiatives that encourage confident and knowledgeable consumers and businesses. This apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to train alongside our team of professionals to gain the skills and knowledge required to investigate criminal consumer offences and provide compliance advice to members of the public and local businesses within the city.
The role involves office-based activities including writing reports and reviewing complaints as well as off-site work including visits to businesses and to consumers in their homes. You will have good IT and communication skills, either a full clean driving licence or the commitment to obtain one before the end of the course and have Maths and English GCSE Pass qualifications.
You will need to be academically strong with good organisational skills to enable you to complete the course as well as undertaking work-based training and carrying out duties related to the role.
This is a 16-month apprenticeship, and this is a temporary post for that period.
Any employment offer is conditional upon you being accepted on the Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship Course with Credit Services Association Learning and you will be supported in making your application.
In addition to a salary, the tuition fees for the Level 4 Course will be fully met as part of a benefits package and you do not need a tuition fee loan.
