The Business Compliance Team is responsible for a wide range of functions which include Food safety, Health and safety, Infectious Disease Control and Public Health Funerals. Reporting to the Business Compliance Manager you will be working with a team of dedicated Regulatory Compliance Officers who routinely undertake these functions.
The role
We are looking for two full time permanent Regulatory Compliance Officers or Environmental Health Officers to join our busy but dedicated Business Compliance Team. Applicants will require a recognised degree or diploma in Environmental Health and will ideally be EHORB registered or registered as an Environmental Health Practitioner / Chartered Environmental Health Practitioner.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player who has the ability to research, investigate and take risk based proportionate actions based on their knowledge and experience.
The duties are varied and would be dependent upon your experience and qualifications. If successful, you would be helping us deliver a wide range of services including: Food Safety, Food Standards, Health and Safety at work, Infectious Disease Control and Public Health Funerals. In this front line role you should have good verbal and written communication skills, and be able to adapt those skills to a variety of audiences.

What's needed?
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to food safety, health & safety and associated legislation
- GCSE 3-5 passes (A-C) to include English and maths E
- Degree, Diploma or equivalent in a field related to Environmental Health or currently working towards qualification
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
