Salary: £46,524 per annum with the opportunity to increase to £54,735 by year 3.

About the Role
NHS Supply Chain is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist who will be responsible for managing a small team of compliance officers. This role will support the Regulatory Governance Manager to implement key controls and KPI's for the team and monitor performance.
Key Responsibilities

NHS Supply Chain is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist who will be responsible for managing a small team of compliance officers. This role will support the Regulatory Governance Manager to implement key controls and KPI's for the team and monitor performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance and quality certification audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Implement compliance policies in liaison with senior personnel
- Assess compliance risks, investigate incidents and take action to ensure compliance.
- Ensures all external regulatory frameworks are complied with within reasonable risk and cost parameters.
- Develop self and both internal and external stakeholders in respect of wider regulations that impact NHS Supply Chain.
- Investigate all kinds of incidents and reports and provide expert advice to more senior colleagues. Minimize risk exposures and ensure adherence with regulatory standards by working with all internal functions to make sure compliance programs are properly implemented.
- Contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the quality management system (QMS); contribute to the design of the QMS; provide specialist quality management input to the drafting of new policies and procedures and the design of business processes; contribute to the quantification of the costs and business benefits of change.
- Manage a portfolio of audit assignments. Ensure that the team plans and delivers audits that cover identified risk areas, and that appropriate corrective actions are agreed on with auditees. Resolve issues arising from audits and refer serious or contentious issues to the audit program leader.
- Works with full competence to determine and analyze trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making. Typically works without supervision and may provide technical guidance.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Previous People Leadership experience, experience of leading a successful team.
