Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, recently voted #1 in the nation as the best large mortgage company to work for by National Mortgage News, is seeking a Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team! The Risk & Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks associated with Atlantic Bay's operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Collaborating with business lines to collect information required for investor applications, re-certifications, external exams, and internal audits.
  • Completing and submitting applications and due diligence packages using various technology and software.
  • Analyzing documents and information to determine requirements for requests are met.
  • Researching federal and state mortgage requirements.
  • Reviewing loan files to determine compliance standards are met for internal audits and control monitoring.
  • Assisting with internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and industry requirements.
What you'll bring
  • Experience in IT/ Servicing highly preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial services focused on regulatory compliance, risk management, operations, or legal affairs
  • Mortgage experience is required with knowledge of both Federal and State requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Attention to detail and very task oriented
  • Knowledge of project management/task management software
  • Experience with social media monitoring technology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent tasks and responsibilities
  • A strong sense of self-initiative and drive
  • An appetite to learn and a willingness to help with a variety of tasks at all levels of the organization
