Senior Compensation Analyst (Compliance/Regulatory)

Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are...

In your role, reporting to the Reward Manager (Compensation & Regulatory), you will support all regulatory analysis, regulatory filings, policy development and processes for the global asset management business, in addition to assisting in providing local compensation support for US-based compensation partners to the non-Asset Management business units in Europe. You will also provide analyst support for the Reward Manager for Global Operations, Global Transformation & Change and Investment Risk businesses.

How you'll spend your time...
  • Support the Reward Manager, Compensation & Regulatory Reporting, and work closely with colleagues across HR, design, review and maintain all Identified Staff policy and processes for the EMEA region.
  • Support the annual regulatory remuneration disclosures and reporting process in collaboration with Global Operations, Compliance and Legal colleagues.
  • Work with the Reward Manager to provide analysis, insights and high-quality solutions-orientated advice to the Global Operations, Global Transformation & Change and Investment Risk businesses including but not limited to:
- Working closely with HR Business Partners to support annual and ad-hoc compensation review processes and analysis
- Act as a point of contact for HR Business Partners regarding benchmarking and market data
- Conducting proactive competitive analysis and recommending updates as necessary in line with market trends and findings.
- Delivering ad-hoc reward analyses to Reward team colleagues and HR Business Partners as required
- Provide occasional support for similar tasks in other areas of the Compensation team from time to time as the need arises.
  • Support the development and delivery of year-end and new joiner reward guidance/explanation, in particular for the specific regulation-driven arrangements in EMEA.
  • Support the Reward Manager in drafting, editing and reviewing content for the EMEA Remuneration Committee meetings on a quarterly basis.
  • Support the Reward Manager and Global Head of Compensation Consulting and Operations in partnering with HR and Operational Risk colleagues to ensure the Risk Adjustment process is well co-ordinated, compliant and effective on a global basis.
  • Support fair pay analysis and reporting, in particular UK Gender Pay Gap disclosure. Work closely with the Reward Manager and HR colleagues to provide analysis for presentation to senior business leaders of GPG and future voluntary or mandatory fair pay analyses.
  • Support annual Equal Pay Audits for the UK business in conjunction with Legal colleagues and work with HR Business Partners and Compensation colleagues to refine and determine any actions to be taken.
  • Provide support and advice on local policy, practice and regulation to US-based compensation partners supporting non-Asset Management businesses in EMEA and Asia.
To be successful in this role you will have...
  • Extensive experience within a Compensation/Reward function
  • Collaborative and communicative working style, both in person and remotely
  • An interest in European financial services reward regulation, ideally with experience of applying pay-out process rules and Identified Staff/ MRT identification criteria.
  • Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with other internal SMEs within and outside HR
  • Strong Excel modeling and presentation skills
  • A good appreciation of the behavioural effects of remuneration design
If you also had this, it would be great...
  • Experience of completing remuneration disclosure reporting for UCITS/ AIFMD or similar
  • SMCR experience useful but not essential
  • Knowledge of UK Gender Pay Gap analysis and disclosures
  • Familiarity with interpreting law and regulation in context of company culture
