What you'll be doing:
- Oversee Compliance and Conduct Risk identification and reporting through Risk governance.
- Support the Head of Compliance with executive and Board/Board committee reports.
- Provide proactive and reactive compliance advice to the business.
- Manage day-to-day oversight of the UK Senior Manager & Certification Regime (SMCR) alongside HR, including maintaining core SMCR documents and training for new Senior Managers.
- Assist the Head of Compliance in responding to regulator requests and proactive regulatory notifications.
- Offer compliance advice and support for HR investigations, particularly regarding Conduct Rules.
- Collaborate with Compliance Assurance teams on the annual Compliance Monitoring plan and engagement with business stakeholders for reporting and action plans.
- Lead horizon scanning activities to identify forward-looking risks, leveraging insights from other AXA entities, and review Compliance Training materials for risk impacts.

What you'll bring:
- Relevant professional experience in compliance, legal, risk management, financial crime, control, or audit.
- Strong technical knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority Handbook rules, with desirable experience in Consumer Duty and Product Governance.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for business stakeholders.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in prioritizing competing demands dynamically while managing stakeholder expectations.
- Experience working in a second line Compliance or Risk function.
- Familiarity with International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) and complex cross-border arrangements.
- Understanding of risk management frameworks, controls, and Insurance Conduct of Business rules and related regulatory requirements.
