About the Role

You will oversee the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and the company adheres to internal policies. The primary purpose of this role is to monitor and evaluate compliance activities, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
Accountabilities
- Lead with Vision: Manage and guide the compliance monitoring team to deliver a consistent and effective compliance monitoring programme.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive compliance monitoring plans, identifying and assessing potential compliance risks.
- Thorough Audits: Conduct and oversee regular audits and reviews to ensure regulatory adherence, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Insightful Reporting: Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to senior management, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships between the Compliance Monitoring team and key stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of regulatory changes and ensure our compliance monitoring framework remains aligned and agile.
- Proven experience in compliance monitoring, and auditing, within financial services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Hold a good level of leadership and management skills, to inspire and guide a team.
- Have an analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Relevant qualifications in compliance or a related discipline are preferred.
