What it's about

In this role, you will act as Senior Compliance Officer and be the deputy of the current Head of Compliance in Luxembourg.

Primary tasks
  • Identifying, understanding, and interpreting European and Luxembourg financial regulations, CSSF Circulars, and guidance issued by industry organizations applicable to an AIFM and AIFs
  • Advising Senior Management on new or changing obligations, products, or services and their impact on the compliance framework
  • Carrying out controls defined in the Luxembourg Compliance Program and translating it into the firm's Global Compliance Program
  • Supporting the Head of Compliance in providing compliance reports and risk assessments to Senior Management and various Boards of Directors
  • Liaising with CSSF and coordinating external and internal audits
  • Supporting AML/CFT roles and ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations
  • Proposing and executing improvements based on risk assessments and using operational excellence and project management skills
  • Drafting new policies, periodic reports, and ad hoc advisory memos
  • Providing education and training to the business
What we expect

  • A Master's degree in finance, law, or a related field, with a certified auditor exam or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in compliance in the Asset Management industry, including the alternative investment funds area
  • A solution-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Strong regulatory knowledge, particularly in Luxembourg alternative investment fund regulation
  • Excellent English language and writing skills, with French and/or German being a plus
  • A hardworking, flexible self-starter with an eye for detail
