We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join the team as a Senior Credit Risk Manager. This is a unique opportunity to support an established team to accelerate the one day mortgage ambition.

In this role you will:
• Manage credit risk requirements in a series of projects seeking to simplify the customer journey, which in turn will help the secured business to grow safely
• Work through the different touchpoints in the customer journey , simplifying by using technology and data to achieve the same results in a more efficient way
• Lead and develop Secured credit, property and climate risk policy for the UK, ensuring compliance with regulation and internal policy, driving good customer outcomes
• Work closely with Global Risk Teams to ensure guidelines and procedures are followed and that best practice techniques are introduced where appropriate
• Manage and develop MI and reporting to deliver actionable insight

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Previous credit risk experience at a senior manager level
• Ability to optimise journeys whilst mitigating risk
• Innovative and ready to apply skills to an ambitious mortgage lender
• Recent experience of working with third parties to leverage new data and technologies to srreamline customer journeys
• Python or SAS coding capabilities

This role is based in Birmingham, Sheffield or Leeds.
