Job Description
As a Senior Credit Risk Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Credit & Portfolio Risk. You will be responsible for the development and adherence to credit risk standards and policies. The role is also responsible for all credit related controls as well as the identification, analysis and effective implementation of policy, process and operational changes related to credit risk management across regulated and unregulated portfolios.

Job Description
As a Senior Credit Risk Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Credit & Portfolio Risk. You will be responsible for the development and adherence to credit risk standards and policies. The role is also responsible for all credit related controls as well as the identification, analysis and effective implementation of policy, process and operational changes related to credit risk management across regulated and unregulated portfolios.
As a Senior Credit Risk Manager, we are looking for someone to:
- Oversee the first line of defence's policy adherence framework, utilising existing processes and data sources and building new components as necessary
- Liase closely with policy owners and operational stakeholders, proactively identifying areas of change that are required to support the effective delivery of the operating plan.
- Own the policy adherence reporting and ad-hoc analysis, providing timely and accurate monthly and quarterly reports and updates.
- Liase closely with the first line of defence operational teams on strategic process change and the identification of opportunities for improving customer outcomes.
- Ensure the suite of operational process documents are designed efficiently in order to deliver all relevant policies and support the amendment of operational processes as policies are updated.
Essential
- Strong Communication skills, both Verbal and Written
- Experience within a credit granting environment
- People Management experience
- Experience of being part of change initiatives and projects
- Experience of working with influencing and senior stakeholders
