Among the European leaders in Wealth Management and Enterprise Risk Management solutions, Prometeia is looking for a Senior Delivery Specialist to join the IT team in its Milan or Bologna office.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate has technical experience and leadership skills to play a key role in managing and coordinating the delivery activities of our software applications.
He/ she will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers in the configuration and integration of our products, contributing to project planning and implementation.

He/ she will be responsible for supporting internal and external customers in the configuration and integration of our products, contributing to project planning and implementation.
MAIN TASKS:
- Coordination of Application Maintenance and Delivery activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality and business objectives.
- Supervision and mentoring of junior and middle seniority team members.
- Configuration of software products for internal and external customers
- Planning and management of project activities, including monitoring, reporting and resource management.
- Implementation and management of microservice environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Configuration and tuning of web servers, in particular IIS and NginX
- Management of relational and NoSQL databases to ensure that applications perform as expected
- Implementation of procedures for integrating customer data to and from Prometeia's products in a cloud environment
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, with evidence of leadership and management of projects of relevant complexity
- Certifications in Cloud (Azure) and Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile) will be considered a plus.
- deep knowledge of cloud platforms, in particular Azure.
- strong experience in managing microservice environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience in configuring and managing web servers (IIS, NginX).
- Advanced skills with relational databases and NOSQL (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Ability to coordinate and manage technical and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in planning, managing and delivering IT projects.
- Knowledge of languages and tools supporting scripting and automation activities (Python, Microsoft PowerShell)
- Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.
- Experience with Databricks and data analysis tools
- Knowledge and/or experience in object-oriented development (OOP)
- Problem solving skills
- Aptitude for teamwork, flexible and dynamic
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of the English language
