As a younger company we are in the constant process of building and strengthening our governance processes. For you, this leads to the unique opportunity to be part of this process from the beginning. Thus far we have designed and implemented a variety of operational and finance-related processes. Now it is time to start measuring their effectiveness. Contribute and make your mark in helping us develop and implement an internal audit function from scratch.
What you'll be doing:

As Senior Internal Auditor at GROPYUS you will be...

• preparing and conducting financial and operational internal audits
• identifying and assessing financial and operational risks
• developing appropriate recommendations and drafting audit reports
• presenting audit findings and recommended actions to the company leadership and boards
• acting as subject matter expert in all audit-related topics
• working closely with other Corporate Governance relevant teams such as Risk Management & Internal Controls, Legal, Information Security
• developing audit programmes and practices.
• supporting the creation of the audit manual

What you bring:

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in internal audit in an industry firm or Big4
• Strong knowledge of auditing practices and internal control standards
• Proficiency in financial accounting, in accordance with IFRS
• Independent, structured and highly analytical working style
• Strong teamplayer
• Assertive character with entrepreneurial and service oriented mindset
• Profound skills in MS Office and data analytics
• Proficiency in SAP and audit software
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and German
