The Senior Tax Accounting and Compliance Manager will be responsible to set-up and lead the tax accounting and compliance function.

About the role

In this newly established role you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining Bolt's global tax accounting and compliance processes, including tax reporting positions in group financial statements, Pillar II reporting and corporate workings. This position allows you to combine your understanding of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) regulations, tax compliance and IFRS/tax accounting knowledge. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Accurate Tax Provisions and Disclosures in Financial Statements
  • Provide Guidance on Accounting for Income Taxes, Deferred Taxes and Liabilities, Uncertain Tax Positions, and Other Tax-Related Financial Reporting Matters
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Preparation and Filing of Corporate Tax Returns and Other Tax-Related Filings Across Multiple Jurisdictions
  • Perform periodical Tax forecasting and provide Tax (P&L and Cash) guidance for mid to long-term.
  • Assisting in the implementation and roll-out of tax reporting tools and technology aimed at improving tax reporting quality and accuracy and compliance processes, including the implementation of OECD Pillar 2 for the Group.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise tax accounting and reporting processes
About you:

  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience working in industry and/or consultancy or as an in-house tax accountant.
  • You have relevant Tax accounting and reporting (IFRS) experience.
  • You have an excellent understanding and experience of implications of various direct and indirect taxes that may affect business, including international taxation and transfer pricing.
  • You have very solid knowledge about corporate income tax, indirect tax and international tax in a global organization.
  • You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relations with internal stakeholders and teams in a multicultural global entrepreneurial environment.
