We are seeking an experienced Immigration and Compliance Specialist to join our team!

The Sr. Immigration and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and standardizing immigration processess to improve efficiency and to mitigate risk for the company. He/She will drive the immigration process including non-immigrant (i.e., OPT/STEM, H-1B, TN, L-1, and O-1) and immigrant petitions (permanent residence sponsorship). They will also ensure full compliance with OFCCP regulations and drive the process for completion of all AAPs for the company.

To be successful in this role, the Sr. Immigration and Compliance Specialist should posess global immigration and compliance experience. He/she must be be adept at managing sensitive information with discretion and capable of clearly conveying complex topics to team members across all levels of the organization.

Immigration Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with outside immigration counsel to ensure full compliance with immigration laws for both inbound and outbound cases.
  • Educate hiring managers, HR, and employees about immigration procedures and company policies.
  • Respond to immigration questions, review issues and employee concerns regarding immigration guidelines and procedures.
  • Prepare and update immigration reports for various stakeholders.
  • Consult with external Legal to complete evaluations of foreign national credentials to assess candidates prior to hire and respond to questions from HR and employees regarding legal requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge on immigration law and procedure and communicate to internal stakeholders and employees.
  • Create or revise corporate immigration policies. Identify, document, and standardize immigration processes to improve efficiency and mitigate risk for the company.
  • Review and track vendor invoices and payments relating to immigration.
Compliance Duties & Responsibilities
  • Work with outside compliance counsel to ensure full compliance with OFCCP regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge on all OFCCP regulations. Coordinate with various teams to maintain all compliance applications and collaborate with human resource and legal teams to mitigate risk. Expected to communicate to stakeholders timely.
  • Drive the process for completion of all AAPS for Qorvo using external resources.
  • Create and deliver the annual management review with our HR Leadership Team.
  • Educate hiring managers, HR, and employees where appropriate about the compliance needs to support our AAPs under OFCCP regs.
  • Responsible for all audit responses. Inclusive is external and internal legal and HR reviews.
  • May assist on other compliance projects as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of employment-based immigration and compliance experience.
  • Experience with Global Immigration case management.
  • Experience managing Business Travel programs preferred.
  • Experience with at least 3 OFCCP audit responses.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  • Experience with supplier management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information appropriately.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
