Working within the RTFO and Sustainability Team to ensure the business is complying with biofuel sustainability compliance requirements supporting the business in decarbonising road transport fuels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining inventory reports for the Greenergy biodiesel plants.
- Ensure incoming feedstock declarations are received within contractual timelines and are validated prior to input in Greenergy's systems
- Ensuring both our internal systems and the Union Database (UDB) are kept up-to-date with timely and accurate information.
- Managing mass balance calculations both in Excel and our internal ERM system(TPT).
- Maintaining the Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme process to ensure accurate company carbon reporting, along with other schemes we look to report under.
- Preparing audit data to ensure compliance with the RED standards.
- Deep knowledge of local, national, and international environmental laws and regulation
- Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting environmental data to assess compliance
- Ability to create and communicate sustainability reports that effectively communicate performance
- Strong skills in identifying, assessing, and managing environmental compliance risks
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to provide sound environmental recommendations
- Stay current on all environment laws and regulations
- Good investigation skills
