Join our team as a Trade Compliance Specialist !

Trade Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with EMEA and global trade regulations, optimizing duty spendings, and driving key reporting and project initiatives. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in customs and trade compliance, data analysis, and project management.

What You'll Do:

CBAM Reporting Initiative
  • Lead the implementation and management of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) reporting initiative.
  • Collaborate with service providers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data collection and regulatory compliance.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and ensure timely submission of CBAM reports.
Duty Optimization
  • Identify and analyze duty-saving opportunities across the EMEA region.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support trade optimization strategies.
Reporting and Analytics
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to trade and customs compliance.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
  • Handle monthly metrics and Intrastat reporting.
Dashboard Maintenance
  • Maintain and update trade compliance dashboards for real-time insights.
Trade Compliance Projects and Initiatives
  • Assist in regional and global trade compliance projects.
  • Provide expertise to resolve compliance-related challenges.
  • Review and maintain SOPs, documentation, and reporting systems.
  • Support new projects like AEO and Approved Exporter.
  • Conduct post-entry audit checks of customs entries.
What You Need:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years experience with customs and trade matters
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge: of EU CBA< regulation, requirements
  • Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency.
  • ERP Systems: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
