This role sits within our Private Sector FM business division that provides catering, cleaning, hard services, pest control, and security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Venues market.

About The Role:

Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, the working hours are dependent on event activity, with time to be self-managed.

Location: This is a regional role however predominately based in Birmingham.

OCS is a leading FM company dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of compliance. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Training and Compliance Manager to join our team, working across the venues division, in the events space.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for front of house colleagues to ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to company and client policies, with a focus on stewarding and security policy and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, adjusting as necessary to improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, data protection, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to training, operational delivery and compliance across the division.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to frontline colleagues, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Support with maintaining accurate records of training and compliance activities, preparing reports for management as needed.
You should meet the following criteria:

  • We are looking for a applicant with experience within a similar Training/Compliance Manager position
  • Strong Customer Service is essential
  • Experience of working in the event or sporting fields is desirable
  • Experience of working at high footfall locations is essential
  • Knowledge of risk management is essential
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A can-do attitude, and the ability to provide operational leadership whilst still being involved in the strategic direction of the NEC Group contract and wider venues contracts.
