What you'll bring to the team
Merlin's Gateway attractions consist of some of our most iconic brands including SEA LIFE, Dungeons, Madame Tussauds, Blackpool Tower and the lastminute.com London Eye. We are currently looking for aTechnical Training and Compliance Administrator to support the Gateway UK Technical Management function to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and guidance across all our Gateway UK attractions.
In this role you will assist in developing reporting structures, auditing inspection processes and assist with implementing Merlin Engineering policies and standards. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure technical compliance and environmental performance across our attractions. As well as supporting the implementation of training and compliance processes, manage the training budget and develop technical training content for in house training and toolbox talks.
You'll also be involved in the management of contractors and associated requirements to enable the Technical Managers to fulfil the maintenance requirements of the site and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory guidance.
Some of your duties will include management of the Planet FM system, used to log all technical tasks across attractions and recording all training, compliance and audit documentation. You will also assist in monitoring the shared training and compliance inbox.
This role is a hybrid position based at our London office, based upon working 40 hours per week Monday - Friday. There may be times when weekend work is required but this will be discussed in advance.

Qualifications & Experience
We think you will thrive in this role if you:
- Experience of a Facilities/Estate/Technical or Contractor Management Role
- Experience of a service driven or helpdesk environment
- Good understanding of health and safety practices including risk assessments
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills, able to liaison with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong administrative, problem solving, research, analytical and prioritisation skills.
- Previous experience of auditing and reporting information
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems
- Hold a Health and Safety Qualification such as IOSH
