The Operations and Risk (MR) unit in our Markets business area is the hub of all operations supporting our Trading and Origination activities, and Asset Management for Europe & US. The department is responsible for all processes and operations in the Back Office Europe & US, Risk Management, New Products & Investment Support, and the Digitalization Office for Trading and Finance. The responsibility of the unit is to ensure accurate and high-quality results in all operational activities to support Statkraft's growth ambitions. The Product and Implementation department (MRS) owns the New Product Approval & Implementation (NPAI) process, as well as Incident and operational change process.
Job Description
You would work in the team responsible for defining and rolling out a product management framework through a thorough change and incident management process with the aim to ensure an increase in quality and a reduction in operational risks related to change and running business. The responsibility for actively monitoring as well as proactively identifying operational risks is also part of the department scope along with conventional reactive measures. Job Description
You would work in the team responsible for defining and rolling out a product management framework through a thorough change and incident management process with the aim to ensure an increase in quality and a reduction in operational risks related to change and running business. The responsibility for actively monitoring as well as proactively identifying operational risks is also part of the department scope along with conventional reactive measures. As Working Student in Operational Risk and Change Management, you are expected to:
- Execute the coordinator role for several operational change process use caseses such as
- The Novation process,
- Cost Code Management,
- Portfolio setup or change requests,
- Material adverse change process,
- and supporting your team members to implement further use cases going forward.
- Create and maintain dashboards on incident statistics in Service Now for middle and senior management and stakeholders in Risk and Operations.
- Maintain and administer policies & procedures/process documentations
- Conduct daily & monthly Incident Reporting
- Perform regular and ad hoc monitoring on relevant business activities and prepare management reports on operational risk related incident reviews
- You must be enrolled at a German University / University of Applied Sciences
- Analytical, time management and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to collaborate constructively with business and functional leaders across departments and hierarchies
- You should be a very reliable team-player with a client centric-attitude
- Strong communication skills in English and German, both written and spoken. An additional European language would be an advantage
