Summary of Role Reporting into the Safety Oversight Manager to ensure document control and quality management including reporting, analysis and auditing is aligned both with internal standards and external regulatory bodies and standards. The Director of Compliance plays a critical role in ensuring that Lendio operates responsibly, both on its own behalf and on behalf of our partners. About the Team Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) is at the foundation of OpenAI's mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. The GRC team provides security assurances and builds compliance for OpenAI's technology, people, and products. About the Role As a Compliance Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving compliance operations optimizations forward and owning their outcomes. This will include building process implementations, creating documentation, and direct ownership of external audits for our organization. You will need to be an enthusiastic self-starter, diplomatic, reliable, optimization oriented, and capable of managing interpersonal dynamics well in high-pressure situations. You will be a part of a team of talented individuals who are just as passionate about supporting one another as they are about OpenAI's mission. In this role you will do more than just manage audits end to end; you will help support and drive the business through building repeatable and scalable GRC processes across the organization, while consistently driving to reduce risks.
