Cloud Risk and Control Compliance Analyst

What we need: The Financial Crime Compliance Officer will be responsible for assisting the MLRO to implement, manage and co-ordinate an effective Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) framework for SEIL. <ul><li>Assist in the drafting, coordinating, monitoring and maintenance of SIEL's FCC policies and procedure</li><li>Provide subject matter expertise on financial crime compliance issues on day-to-day activities</li><li>Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance risks are understood, managed, and mitigated across all business units</li><li>Review and investigate of internal suspicious activity reports and fraud activities</li><li>Provide Anti-Money Laundering oversight of products and processes through monitoring and periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements</li><li>Overseeing first line of defence activities</li><li>Prove training and guidance to the first line of defence on financial crime risks and control requirements</li><li>Preparation of management information, board reports, and other senior management reporting</li><li>Maintain a strong understanding of the Firm's business model and strategy</li><li>Assist in identifying and tracking new and updated requirements relating to financial crime, engaging collaboratively with the business in developing, implementing, and monitoring new procedures</li><li>Identify training needs; delivering FCC training to SIEL employees</li><li>Help identify opportunities for streamlining processes and implement efficiencies that will lead to enhanced client experience</li><li>Foster a strong culture of compliance by promoting awareness and understanding of financial crime issues at all levels of the Firm.</li></ul>What we would like: <ul><li>Experience of working in a second line of defence financial crime function (4 -5 years), preferably within Private Banking or Asset Management</li><li>Strong knowledge of financial crime legislation and regulation (ideally ICA Diploma or ACAMS qualified)</li><li>Proven experience in an assurance, compliance monitoring, providing assurance over financial crime risk management</li><li>Previous experience in undertaking customer screening, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting and complex fraud investigations</li><li>Excellent analytical, research and critical thinking skills, with an ability to make informed judgements</li><li>Logical thinker with an attention to detail</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>A collaborative team player, approachable, self-efficient and influences a positive work environment</li><li>Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast paced environment</li><li>High degree of personal and professional integrity.</li></ul>SEI's competitive advantage: To help you stay energised, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including comprehensive care for your physical and mental well-being, strong pension plan, tuition reimbursement, hybrid working environment, and a work-life balance that enables you to relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about. Reporting to the Quality and Compliance manager this role will actively manage company compliance systems to ensure our systems at the Gosport site meet requirements of independent standards and customers. Main Responsibilities include: <ul><li>Maintain and improve the key systems that form the Integrated Management System (IMS) that ensures compliance to the company's formal certifications and customer standards.</li><li>Proactively identify compliance requirements (within standards, legislation and customer standards) and ensure compliance before commencement dates.</li><li>Implement improvements to the Compliance systems both proactively and reactively and ensure that wherever possible technology is utilized.</li><li>Ensure that Huhtamaki is sufficiently prepared to seamlessly transition to new standards within a short timescale.</li><li>Ensure that all key activities within the IMS such as data analysis, report generation, quality and H&amp;S investigations, audit action follow-up are completed to a high standard and on time.</li><li>Ensure that the internal audit system is effectively organized, and audits are completed to agreed schedule.</li><li>Host external audits. Ensure audit preparation is adequate to eliminate non-conformities.</li><li>Coordinate response to audit findings work including ensuring all NC's, observations and Ops for Improvement are fully closed out and documented.</li><li>Provide administrative support to organize meetings and events, document meetings, update systems and notice boards.</li><li>To communicate key issues to a wider audience by delivering inductions, training sessions etc.</li><li>To be involved in harmonization &amp; improvement activities and project work</li><li>Harmonize where possible the Compliance systems between Gosport and Group ensuring best practice learning, and improvement is applied.</li></ul>The successful candidate will have the following:- Qualified to a minimum of GSCE in maths and english (Grade C / 6 and above). Ideally qualified with A-Levels, CQI/IRCA Lead Auditor qualified and BRCGS HARA - Level 2 or 3. Experience of working in a high-volume manufacturing operation, and ideally in plastics and/or paper processing. Experience of maintaining or streamlining Compliance &amp; Quality systems and ideally conducting and hosting audits with an understanding of compliance and standards, including familiarity with auditing. Ideally has knowledge and deep understanding of ISO standards, BRC Packaging standard and systems to identify new legislation &amp; knowledge of UK and EU regulations covering Food Contact Packaging. Strong IT skills in MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office applications with the ability to create graphs, analyze trends and make recommendations. Good verbal and written communications skills &amp; strong organizational skills Strong teamwork skills &amp; a positive &amp; proactive approach are a must. The role is office based in our Gosport site working Monday to Friday, there is opportunity to work from home up to 2-3 days per week once trained &amp; confident in the role.
