DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, organize, and manage environmental compliance functions for all VDF facilities. • Provide Leadership and direction in the development, implementation, and oversight of environmental compliance. • Work closely with site leadership to establish standard operating procedures and sustainable environmental initiatives. • Assess, interpret and communicate environmental laws and regulations. • Maintain records of emissions, permits, waste disposal and other pertinent records. • Perform and assist in planning and scheduling of required environmental training. • Coordinate the investigation of compliance incidents at the plant level. • Coordinate and oversee regulatory compliance audits and inspections and associated recordkeeping. • Lead/participate in the review of new equipment and facilities that may have environmental compliance implications. • Lead environmental abatement activities as required. JOB EXPERIENCE: Three or more years of environmental compliance experience in a manufacturing environment.
