The role sits within the First Line Credit Risk team at Tandem. It's a new team being set up to provide high quality Credit Risk analysis and strategies to ensure Tandem grows safely and within our risk appetite. Your Impact: Building a greener tomorrow As a Credit Risk Model Manager at Tandem your focus will be on: <ul><li>Develop Application and Collection Scorecards for all Tandem's Lending products</li><li>Calculating cost of risk for pricing and risk reward models</li><li>Analysis on key risk trends and issue</li><li>Write proposals for approval at Credit Committee</li><li>Interaction with third parties including regulators, Credit Reference Agencies and consultancies</li><li>Developing and implementing advanced statistical models to predict credit risk, optimise credit scoring, and enhance our decision-making/underwriting processes.</li><li>Maintain and monitor all credit risk models and scorecards.</li><li>Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.</li><li>Perform data cleaning to ensure high-quality data for analysis,</li><li>Working independently and presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.</li></ul>We'd love to hear from you if you have: <ul><li>Strong skills in at least one programming language (preferably Python and SQL)</li><li>Strong experience in the development and monitoring of retail Credit Risk application, management and measurement models</li><li>Good knowledge of consumer credit risk, including mortgages, personal loans and motor finance</li><li>Experience in calculating risk forecasts</li><li>Experience in risk analysis and reporting</li><li>Strong understanding of the use of scorecards and affordability models in Credit Risk strategies</li><li>Strong presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex data into understandable insight</li><li>A great attention to detail and be process-oriented to review, suggest and implement improvements where appropriate.</li><li>Able to work in a fast paced, changing environment.</li></ul>It would be great, but not essential if you have: <ul><li>Experience in corporate risk management and measurement</li></ul>Rewards that reflect your value, what's in it for you?
