The Role Department : Business Acceptance Unit Location : Manchester or London Role : Conflict and Compliance Analyst The Role You will be responsible for assisting partners and other members of Clyde &amp; Co with the new business inception process in line with legislation and regulatory requirements. This will include conflict of interest searches for legal and commercial conflicts, anti-money laundering processes for new and existing clients, on-going client monitoring, sanctions checks and other risk management procedures. Tax Senior Manager - Global Compliance & Transformation - Data & Automation

Role Purpose: The Senior C&amp;R AML Analyst is responsible for ensuring the business complies with all applicable anti money laundering (AML) legislation, other regulatory requirements, and Travelex's internal standards. The Senior C&amp;R AML Analyst will work closely with the Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO), investigating suspicious activity in accordance with the company's and regulatory principles and report to the DMLRO. The Senior C&amp;R AML Analyst will specifically be responsible for ensuring robust AML controls within our UK retail business. The role will be required to conduct financial crime risk assessment for not only customers but also products and projects, monitor pre-set levels and parameters related to customer transactions, conduct regular horizon scanning to identify emerging regulatory changes and guidance ensuring the business remain compliant, manage alerts and cases from compliance systems and tools, and identify behaviors that deviate from the norm to escalate suspicions as required. They will also be required to investigate and analyse suspicious activity reports and make recommendations on what action is required for the compliance operation team and junior analysts.
